About This Tour Extension
The Festival Internacional Cervantino, the most important international artistic and cultural event in Mexico and Latin America, attracts artists from all over the world each year. Performances of music, dance, theater and more take place all around the beautiful hillside village of Guanajuato, UNESCO World Heritage Site. Most entertainments are free to the public, and many attendees never purchase a ticket to the paid events. The paid events are numerous, and the events for 2018 will not be listed until mid-July in 2018. At that time, we will purchase tickets to the best events available on the days of our tour.
We will be joining this three-week festival during its middle weekend. Click here to review the schedule of performances at the 2017 Festival, which will give you a good idea about what to expect for 2018. Although the site is in Spanish, the photos are informative and you can use Google Translate on the page if you want to read more.
