Due
to special booking conditions for this tour, the initial deposit
requirement

Increase your deposit to $1,250 if you wish to book Business Class airfare
between Bangkok and Paro.
Special Refund Policy for Bhutan 2009: $850.00 of your deposit (the cost of the Paro flight) is non-refundable. ($1,100 is non-refundable if you have chosen to book in Business Class.) Final payment is due 90 days prior to departure. This early final payment requirement is due to special booking circumstances relating to hotel and flight scarcity during the Paro Festival in Bhutan. The final payment deadline is specified in the “Reservations” section of each detailed itinerary, and can also be found at the bottom of the invoice you will receive after booking a tour. If you cancel after the final payment deadline, the following schedule applies:
Deadline - 60 days 75% of total land price is non-refundable
59 days - departure 100% of total land price is non-refundable
We strongly urge you to purchase travel insurance for coverage in case you must cancel your trip under cancellation penalty, especially since the cost of the Paro flight is immediately non-refundable once you book the tour. Once we have sent payment to Bhutan for the tour cost, it will be impossible to return the funds.
